Autumn Pointe features an amazing mountain top view, free wireless internet and can accommodate up to six guests comfortably. Our other cabin Spokane has a private catch and release stocked fishing pond, stocked with catfish, perch, and blue gill. Spokane is set on four private acres which offers seclusion and privacy.

Another Layer Down

 
Our kitchen table at Spokane is  about seven years old. It was made locally by a great craftsman that can turn a tree into just about anything. Anyway, it was getting a little worn and potted. We thought stripping it down to it's baby soft fibers, staining it,  and slapping a few layers of water based acrylic might add a little something. Took a few days to complete, as the orange stripping stuff has to sit for several hours at a time to penetrate the old finish. It was well worth it though, as the table looks as good as when we purchased it.

Beavers Bend Folk Festival & Craft Show

Just a reminder, the Beavers Bend Folk Festival and Craft Show will take place Nov. 12-14.

The Beavers Bend Folk Festival & Craft Show feature turn of the century crafts, demonstrations, folk music, and a barnyard petting zoo. Exhibitors feature crafts and skills such as candle making, woodturning, and blacksmithing. F...olk ensembles set the mood with the twang of banjos, the wail of fiddles and the ring of dulcimer strings. It is one of the best times to visit Beavers Bend.
